Kreiner Sets New American Record

Kim Kreiner set a new American record in the Javelin throw on Wednesday at the “Grande Prêmio Sul-Americano Caixa/Unifor de Atletismo” in Fortaleza, Brazil:

"Kreiner won the women’s Javelin Throw with 64.19m, and set a new national record, which also is the furthest throw in the world in 2007. The series for the 2003 Pan-American Games champion was: foul, 60.77, 64.19, 59.29, foul, 59.21. Her previous record of 62.44m was set in Ärhus on 6 Jul 2006."
