NEW YORK - Ultramarathoner Dean Karnazes will attempt to break the world record by running more than 153.76 miles in 24 hours on a treadmill in Times Square.
This is what happens when runners lose their minds from overdosing on endorphins. Seriously, though, it's for a worthy cause. Karnazes is raising money for Athletes for a Cure Foundation, an organization devoted to funding prostate cancer research. Yahoo also indicted that Karnazes' "next goal is to run 4,200 miles across North America in the spring."
I wish Mr. Karnazes the best of luck. I also recommend that he search this site for a reputable psychologist.
